Doug, a concierge at a luxurious New York City hotel, dreams of opening his own inn, but he needs a substantial loan to make it happen. When a wealthy but unscrupulous businessman offers him the funds in exchange for arranging trysts with his mistress, Doug is faced with a moral dilemma.
